A's Kurtz, Braves' Baldwin named rookies of year

Athletics first baseman Nick Kurtz, one of several notable rookies in the organization, was named the AL Rookie of the Year on Monday night after hitting 36 home runs with 98 RBIs in 117 games, while teammate Jacob Wilson finished second.
